Ingredients
Paneer pieces (cut into a 2" squares)- 8 –10
Bell pepper (cut into a 2”squares)-1
Onion (Make into 8 pieces)-2
Button Mushroom – 8-10
Cherry tomatoes-6 or tomatoes-2 (cut into 2”squares)
Red chilli powder –1 tspn
Turmeric powder – ½ tspn
Coriander powder- 1 tspn
Cumin powder-1/2 tspn
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tspn
Curd(Yogurt) – 4-5 tblspn
Salt to taste
Wooden skewers
Preparation
1.Soak the wooden skewers in water for 2 hours. This prevents the skewer from burning when broiling the kebabs.
2.Mix the yogurt with the coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder and tumeric powders and garlic paste. Add salt to taste. Whisk to get a smooth paste.
3.Add the cubes of paneer to this paste and coat well. Allow to marinate for several hours(about 2 hours min)
4.Also marinate the bell pepper,onion,mushroom and cherry tomatoes with the remaining paste( marinades).
5.Sew the marinated paneer cubes, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes,bell pepper and onion pieces one after the other onto skewer.
6.Place the skewers on a foil lined baking sheet .Broil them for 10 minutes on high and turn them around and broil for another 10 minutes.
7.Garnish with the lemon slices and coriander leaves, and serve hot
Serve with mint chutney or coriander chutney.
